Do or Do Not There is No Try
Sometimes I wish people would just stop talking and just start doing. I have the conversation with adults and I certainly have it with my kids. People say they don’t have enough time to do things. Do you know what the biggest time waster is? No, it’s no Facebook or reading my blog.
The biggest time waster is: Spending time making excuses.
People, the media, and coworkers like to make excuses why someone else is at fault. There is a better way to do it or they are doing it wrong. Yet no action follows. After a season of political commercials, debates, and former Facebook friends comments, we have been beaten with why the other person is doing it wrong. Not always much more specific than that or how they would specifically do it differently.
Who doesn’t remember this scene from Star Wars:
If we just focus on doing, without the worry of failure, we can move everything forward.
