Registered for first Ultramarathon

While I have not posted here in over a month, I have been running. Now whether or not I have had any thoughts on those runs is a different discussion. Considering yesterday I registered for my first ultramarathon, I may be well out of thoughts.
After many signs ranging from winning a pair of Vasque Footwear trail sneakers, finding a babysitter, and wife willing to go support me, it was hard not to register for the Silver Rush 50 in Leadville. With that, now I have many things to think about ranging from what to eat to when to arrive to how to survive.
