Coffee in Hand

From the treadmill I run on at the gym, I overlook where Personal Trainers work with people. Over the past couple weeks I’ve noticed a pattern. The trainers tell their clients what to do while sipping coffee. Now, if I’m going to pay someone to get me in shape, I would like a little more enthusiasm and involvement. If I’m just paying for their expertise that’s one thing, but I’m pretty good with Google. I can research different exercises and eating programs. In fact, I do. I would like to have someone there to hold me accountable and encourage. Not just something for them to do while they have their morning cup of coffee.

About 10 years ago I used a trainer and found them very helpful. Now with access to the information at hand, I need a motivational and accountability factor. I could just find a friend to workout with for free to do that.

  1. A trainer who drinks coffee while training someone is a lazy trainer. Or, being a trainer, that's my opinion.
