Sluggish Start

Alarm went off. Hit snooze. That’s not usually a good start to the day.
Made it out of bed and into the car out to the -5 degree weather. Arrived at the gym a little more refreshed, but still not at 100%.
When this happens, I like to through a curve ball at my body. I increased the speed and pushed it. Then proceeded to lift weights. Seemed like it helped.
The interesting thing is that we all run into lack of motivation each day. What I find fun is finding the ways to snap myself out of it. Whether it be going for a walk, watch a funny video, or grabbing a smoothie. Every once and awhile, nothing seems to work. That’s when you can find me sleeping under my desk.
Take 2 minutes and stop to listen to yourself. You’ll be surprised how long 2 minutes feels like.
