Don’t Quit Because It’s Too Far
Thought for Thursday

Injuries aside, I hear this excuse often. “It’s just too far to go.” Mentally to get to that excuse, you are almost on your way.
The first thing you need to do is decide why you started in the first place. If we’re talking about exercise or losing weight, visualize every step and minute you go is more time added onto your life. If it’s a project, think about what you are learning from it. Step back and find the value in everything. If you don’t see the value, ask someone to watch and provide feedback.
Finish what you start because at some point your brain told you it is possible. People say the first step is the hardest. Nobody told you the last step can be just as hard. Allow yourself to be successful, happy, and accomplished! Only you can define your own happiness.
