Reading on the bus
39:11 – 4.05 Miles
Over the past couple of weeks I have read 2 books on the bus. Nothing to be impressed about as they were motivational books which are basically books with quotes in them. Didn’t learn anything particularly insightful. What resonated with me, was the comment that “overnight success doesn’t happen overnight.” Too many times I get frustrated because I am not achieving goals fast enough. This discouragement leads to further slowdown and delay.
Business is going quite well and there are no shortage of clients. The challenge is with spending time on the phone with them. 90%, if not 100%, of the process can be done through email and IM. This is much more efficient and allows for me to continue working without breaking the flow. What I need is a Project Manager and Sales person to manage the phones so that I can focus on producing the work.
