I am reading a book and it has the quote:

Overnight success happens over years.

So often we hear about overnight sensations and instant millionaires when it is not really the case. Even Google did not have instant success. Yes, when they released their IPO things seriously took off, but the two founders spent years of late nights, forming partnerships, writing code, testing, failing, testing, and continuing forward. Life is not about failures but about lessons learned.
