I must say that since getting my iPhone (with T-Mobile) that life has not been the same! The simple Google Maps and the GPS that goes along with it has saved me quite a few times. Not to mention being able to get online to find the restaurant I’m going to and their phone number so I can call for directions (happened yesterday). There are definitely some fun toys on it that has made for great babysitting during a doctor’s office visit. My oldest loves iBowl, Tic Tac Toe, and Koi Pond. I enjoy Pandora, Urbanspoon, and access to all of my email accounts.

National Geographic did something a little different and composed a list of the 25 Best Outdoor iPhone Apps:

This includes star maps, ski report, mapping your runs, weather … apps for things you do outside. Some are free and some cost $5, but fairly cheap games/toys in the world of electronics.
