No TV in the Bar

I thought this was an interesting article as it talks about a group of bars in New York that don’t believe in having televisions posted inside. This way, patrons of the bar can enjoy conversations.

I am completely guilty of zoning out and watching tv while in a bar with friends. There have been times when the tv has saved me fr0k absolute boredom of the company I was with. It has also provided me with a safe distraction while being forced to sit at a bar/restaurant with co-workers. At the same time, I have a focus issue anyhow and find myself needing more then one activity at a time to stay focused. While it may come across as rude, ask me anything you just said while I was staring off at the tv and 97% of time I can repeat back to you what was said.
