Naming a Company
I have 2 new business ventures in the development phase and I have been thinking about what to name them. My thoughts on this have always been to go with something that is vaguely specific. A catchy name that says what the company does, but is not too specific that it restricts future growth. Another way to go about it would be to give it a name that has nothing to do with what it does. Sony would be a good example of this. The name doesn’t explain anything and allows them to make everything from games to televisions to cameras.
What other company names don’t have any relevance to what they do?
