Power of Positive
I witnessed an interesting situation today in the workplace. One colleague had a great idea to reach a group of prospects through an email campaign. The person who sends the email campaign said they needed at least a 3 day notice. Colleague become frustrated and discouraged. Colleague stated that it just doesn’t matter I guess.
In marketing, it is more critical then ever to be able to respond quickly. I have always said that successful marketing campaigns are 80% gut. You can study all the data you want (and I have) but using a keen eye and seeing human buying habits will make you more successful. In the situation today, I can send an email campaign in less then 15 minutes once I have the list and content. Or, we can banter about how it needs to be thought out, analyzed, and whether it will work. It’s an email campaign. It costs nothing to send. Just do it and see what happens.
