Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon – San Diego
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon in San Diego is June 1, 2008 and I am contemplating making this my first full marathon. A couple of reasons I would choose this event include:
There is a band every couple miles playing
Almost half of the participants in the race are first time marathoners
91% of the first-time marathoners said their experience at Rock ‘n’ Roll encouraged them to return to run another marathon.
The race ends on a Marine base!
Anyone have experience with this race? I’m thinking this would be a fun trip for the family!
