Runners Black Tie Friday Event
There are two things that I can buy a lot of: technology gadgets and running gear. Thanks to my friends at Road Runner Sports, I have the “in” on their upcoming event. Friday, November 9th from 5p-8p at the Road Runner Sports Westminster, Colorado location, there will be a Black Tie Friday event. This event has the same deals you would find at places the day after Thanksgiving, but earlier and without the lines.
They are going to have giveaways, food, and the staff there to answer questions. One of the reasons that this is my go-to store, is that everyone that works there is either a runner, cyclist, and/or coach. They get it. Nobody will look at you funny when you say you want to run 100 miles or take on your first 5k. Road Runner Sports makes you feel like part of the family.

Oh and when I say deals … wow … the discounts are so big that the only way to get an idea of them is to stop at the store and talk to someone. If you ever wanted to get a Garmin or other device, get there right at the start!
I’ll be there with my black tie on (over a running shirt paired with jeans of course) to pickup some winter gear (need more gloves & a jacket) and possibly a Garmin.
