As with many people that have young kids, I don’t get to go to the movie theater much anymore. Before having kids, I watched the points on my Movie Watcher card rack up like the national debt. Growing up I watched movies almost everyday and one of my first jobs in Colorado was running a Blockbuster Video. I love movies!

With today’s broadband and web video technology, why can’t a movie theater setup a camera in the theater, or plug it into the digital projector, and stream it over the web to our house? I’ll pay the extra money that theaters are losing from popcorn sales! We have video on demand and can view live web cams, so I think we are ready to stream movie theater releases to our tv.
