Shred It

A local news station sponsored a shredathon for people to come and have their important documents shredded. With the outbreak of identity theft over the past year, the news station wanted to help. They weren’t sure how many would show up. At 6am on a Saturday cars lined up. When it was all said and done, over 75 tons of paper had been shredded!

  1. I’ve heard of banks doing this for their customers, and it’s a two-fold reason 1) shredding important documents to prevent identity theft and 2) recycling.
