Fantastic Four Things Friday – Week Recap No. 24
Days just fly by around here … lots of thoughts on next weekends 100 mile race and what will happen then. In the meantime, had some fun!
1. Time on feet with kids
Spent some time at the park with the kids and walking the neighborhood with child on back. Great exercise and fun times outside! Our neighborhood has tripled in the past 18 months and the builder says they can’t break ground fast enough on houses. That’s a good sign!
2. Pool time
Between swimming lessons and a pool birthday party, we had a good time in the water this past week. Our oldest is getting much stronger and more efficient with his swimming so swim team is just around the corner. Then maybe a kids triathlon???
3. Creative Sleeping
For the most part, our 3 year old doesn’t take naps. Lately though, she’s needed a little extra sleep in the afternoon or around dinner time. That makes it a challenge for her to go to bed before 10p when she does that. So, she has been finding places to sneak in a nap without us or her 3 siblings finding her. Here’s a photo of the latest installment of “Where’s Lyndsey Sleeping?”.
4. Staff Party
Tanya is going back to the teaching world after taking some (9 years) time off after the birth of our first child. This week there was a staff get together of all the teachers and it was an awesome time! It is a great group of teachers and between everyone, we probably had 23 kids there. They all played great together and on their own! At least, I assume they did. The Denver Broncos were on tv playing the Chicago Bears so I can’t say for sure.
Next week’s Fantastic Four Things Friday will be coming to you from Leadville!
