State of Shock

As with many of Patriot fans around the country, still in a state of shock over the outcome of yesterday’s Super Bowl. While the better team of the evening did win, it was sad to see a team such as the Patriots work so hard over the season, only to lose by 1 or 2 plays.
It would be nice if the 1972 Dolphins could recognize that comparing themselves to the present-day Patriots is by no means apples to apples. The ’72 Dolphins didn’t play a team over .500 during their season and the level of play in today’s football is multiple levels higher.
Shock and sadness.
