I read the headlines on my local news website this morning and it read:

Several news organizations are reporting Republican presidential candidate and Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo plans to call it quits in his bid for the presidency.

“Several news organizations …” Really? But I am reading this on a news organizations website? How can a news organization be reporting on what another news organization is reporting on?
