Non-Running Day

Karma: in Dharmic religions understood as denoting the entire cycle of cause and effect described in Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddhist philosophies.

A week and a half ago we were rear-ended on the way to a friend’s house. The guy’s first words were ‘I wasn’t even looking. Sorry about that.’ Cops were already there as there was an accident that the guy was staring at when he hit us. Cop wrote him a ticket, information swapped, and he was supposed to call me on Monday with the claim number. He did not. I left him messages at the phone numbers he provided and then called his insurance. They said he had not added the vehicle to his insuance policy. After a coverage investigation, it was determined that he has no insurance coverage. Now we have our deductible to cover, plus medical expenses, and replacing 3 car seats.

If people would stop trying to cheat the system and step-up and do the right thing, then this would not happen. Fortunately I have Allstate and the best agent in the world who is helping us through this and will go after the guy.

Driving with no insurance and not doing the right thing.
Karma: Getting your license suspended, fined $1,000, police record and probably not able to get insurance again.
