Eye of the Tiger
1:07:27 – 7 miles
I went to bed late and woke up late. Seeing a pattern. No excuses. If I’m going to tell people “no excuses” then I need to start following it.
My day job we provide a tool that allows businesses to market themselves online. What has been interesting is that people do nothing and then call 2 months later saying it didn’t work. Well, just because you pay your phone bill doesn’t mean you automatically get new customers. It’s about how you use the tools.
Same goes with running, exercise, and fitness. You can pay for the gym membership and a personal trainer can tell you what to do. It comes down to you taking action.
If you want results, then make the results happen.
This morning as I was running, at mile 4 I had no interest in going on. Then I remembered that there were people who listen to what I say and watch what I do. At mile 5.5 Eye of the Tiger began to play. Cranked up the speed and headed for the finish line.
Such is life.
