1:00:51 – 6 miles
Woke up an hour later then usual. Well, really I turned off the alarm and then an hour later decided to still go for a run. Amazing the difference of going out at 5:30a rather then 4:30a.
More cars. There are more people driving and not everyone has had their coffee. On one instance, lady rolled through stop sign only looking in one direction. Not mine.
The other issue is heat. There was a 10 degree difference in that hour I caught an extra couple of z’s.
Overall though, I ran one of my more enjoyable routes and am seeing my time get better. Then again, I haven’t run that same pace on 13.1 miles let alone the 26.2.
