My Own Half Marathon

2:26:05 – 13.1 miles

It was a chilly run this morning and first time I have run with a long sleeve pullover. Not too bad! I also stopped at a King Sooper’s on the route (mile 6.5) to get a water refill and down a GU. Was a nice run with little pain!

Been interesting not watching the news while running. I feel a little more optimistic about life. Or maybe ignorant. I realize there is a great deal of devastation happening to the ocean due to the oil spill, but at the same time see so much good in the world. We could all focus on the bad and let that drive our discussions and decisions, or talk about the good and the possibilities.

We are breathing, so it is a good day. Let’s start there.
