Comeback Time
Yesterday I went for a run after work … put in 4.5 miles. This morning I got up and ran 6 miles. I woke up at the time I had been waking up for the past couple of weeks … 4:30a. This is the first time I actually left the house in those 2 weeks. The other times I would just hit snooze and sleep for 2 more hours.
I probably spent about 3 minutes standing up in the bedroom having an internal debate. The negative side was hitting me with questions:
Do I want to run?
Why do you want to run?
Are you insane?
The insanity question seems to keep coming up when I tell people my goals. I’ll write more about that in another post.
In keeping with one of my 2010 Resolutions, I have committed to blogging more. It’s a little bit of a challenge as I keep Facebook/Twitter updated with my runs and thoughts. I will investigate adding a Twitter widget to this blog to help give a better picture of what is happening.
