Been reading quite a bit about race day strategies. Everything from what to eat, when to eat, pace to start out at, when to do the gel, and on and on and on … realizing I am over thinking it and just need to go run.
Challenge with this is that there is always outside stresses making it more difficult to run. Stress can slow you down in so many ways that it could be used as a torture technique. So why do we torture ourselves then?
