I’m Most People

42:25 – 4 miles

This tapering sure makes life good! At first when I read that I would be dropping from 40 miles a week to 19, I was concerned. Then the next line in the training said “most people get concerned.” Well, I am most people then. The theory behind tapering is that you are allowing your body to rest and gain the benefits of the previous weeks of hard training. I can feel that to be true, but at the same time want to be ready to run 26.2 miles. It’s fun being my own guinea pig.
