Long Run

03:05:00 – 16 miles

Officially longest distance I have run in my entire life. It as all treadmill and here’s why:
- Wanted to test fuel
- Wanted to be in a safe environment should something goes wrong
- If I can do it on a treadmill, I should easily be able to do it on a road course

Once I hit 10 miles my mind shifted to “I’m in double digits.”

Once I hit 13.1 miles, the thought of “I just did a half marathon” went through my mind.

From there, it was “run your pace and finish the race” … something I started on my first half marathon race.
