Housing Marketing in Depression

I have read article after article and listened to all the news stories talk about the housing market crashing. Maybe if they stopped talking about it then it would stop happening? An article like this saying the current situation is like the Great Depression certainly strikes fear in investors which causes the stock market to roll downhill. Reading things like:

Stumpf, CEO of Wells Fargo, said the current real estate conditions are the worst he has experienced during his 30-year career. He then punctuated his gloomy assessment by harking back to the deepest downturn of the 20th century.

Not uplifting and helpful. It is a buyer’s market and those that currently have money in the bank will come out of the housing slump ahead.
